Hey,I'm playing Fallout New Vegas for the first time (It's been sitting in my Steam account for years, never got around to it)I've been googling how to update the graphics, as I iunderstand there are lots of excellent mods, but I wind up getting very confused.Does anyone know of a guide to get the most out of this game today?I find lots of conflicting information from different years, and I have no idea which mods to install together and which might conflict. Allows for tons of post-processing-added options from bokeh, to lens flare, to coloration (sepia, monotone, exposure, hue, contrast, you name it and it can add it).

Which can add or detract depending on your monitor's color output and your taste, as well as the author's. Usually you install ENB's dll wrapper and then a 'preset' file which tells ENB's wrapper what to add. It can add either a little/none or a ton of computation overhead bringing smooth running games on top hardware to their knees.

There are load order programs around that automatically sorts the mods' load order in order to prevent mods from overriding other mods.Skyrim's version is called BOSS I think, and Fallout 4's version is called LOOT, there should be one for New Vegas. The good part is it's fairly painless to back out everything and start form scratch with with a mod mgr like nexus mod mgr, and it's pretty well supported by the community.I was only a casual fallout player, there was a learning curve, once you get past it, not too bad. I add/delete mods to see what happens with doing different weapons, settlement mods and, if so inclined, lot's of bodyslide mods.
