Since Diablo 2's max limit was 8, Diablo 3's much lower figure spurred a lot of fan debate.2 The D3 developers were unmoved though, and stood by their conviction that everyone in a game should play together in the same area, and that four players on the same.
Hey - I just started playing the single player mode in preperations for the ladder reset later on - and man, it just Feels different than playing on the realms! I use every item I can find - I use skills and stats that are fun, and not holding out til level 80, I actually have to play it, no rushes, and no free lewtz or bots! Such a different game alltogether!Anyone else just started playing single mode, or have anything to say about it? What are the differences with single and bnet you have experienced?
So far alli can see is the map saves everywhere you go and its leet, i have a level 17 druid lol The storyline is also more grasping than when I play on bnet for some reason also. I think rushes are very.
Also all the free items and duped items, it really waters down the game. I wish i could create a game and have it fill up with legit players - but its all rushes to hell nowadays and then 99% of all baal runs in hell are bots that take all the good loot faster than anyone can click on the item name - hope some of that changes in the patch/ladder reset. So far my necromancer is 13 and I'm loving the summoner type, i always used bonecasters on bnet but they aren't very good for monster killing once you pass nightmarish - now its a tie with feral/summon druid or summon nec for the new ladder reset. Can't wait! Also, will try the /players 8 thing - should give leet exp! After finishing the game in SP so many goddamn times and never getting the items I wanted because.well.it's SP, now I'm just playing through Normal, Nightmare, finish Hell and just use an editor to have some fun with my character. My Bone Necro (without the aid of an editor) was pretty OP'd until I reached Act II in Hell.I used players 8 all throughout Normal, Nightmare, and Act I of Hell.taking it off in certain, really fucked up, circumstances. It's grand (especially the XP it gives out) if you have a lot of damage. I slam players 8 when I battle Hell Mephisto.that's a goddamn shitload of XP right there.
It doesn't take much time either, since my spirits hit with a not-so-bad damage, and he can't reach me since I'm on the other side of that little river of blood.and my walls protect me from his lightning attacks. Yeah, I started over with a non Bnet lvl 47 Bone Necro. Its kind of a change for me since I usually make a poison meleemancer. I have been taking my time, listening to every single speech, watching all the cinematics, etc. A lot of fun!I was playing Titan Quest for a while, but once I popped in DII, I realize how much better it is than Titan Quest.
Better monsters, better NPCs, better loot, better quests, better dungeons, faster pace, etc.' Horazon's urinal?
Oh Horazon's Journal.' I love that line from Elzix.
