The whole sandbox thing has gotten really far too extreme, and makes games become pointless and empty of any real drama.
Dungeon Siege II is an action role-playing video game, the sequel to 2002's Dungeon Siege. It was developed by Gas Powered Games and released on August 16, 2005. The story is a continuation of the Dungeon Siege storyline. An expansion Broken World was released in 2006.
A tight, heart-pounding adventure comes from a controlled environment where they dish up the challenge in your face. Like a good movie.I just got done playing Dungeon Siege, and I found it a very sweet and enjoyable ride. I would heartily recommend it. Now I have to decide whether to take another trip, or whether to move on to Dungeon Siege II.

That one might change your mind. Easily one of the best ARPGs ever made. I enjoyed sandbox and linear games, as long as both give enjoyment.
It took about 2 years to finish DS1, but I kept coming back and playing and can say with satisfaction that it's one of the few PC games I've actually finished.@ Armatus, what do you mean you're waiting for the sequel? Maybe on Steam?I know many people want a Steam version so you can always just download and play it on another PC in the future, but Legends of Aranna (the sequel) is still available by CD or DVD in some used game merchants online or locally if you get lucky.
