The Lord of the Rings is an exercise in imagined history. It revolves around the One Ring, forged by the evil Sauron to control a land called Middle-earth. It revolves around the One Ring, forged by the evil Sauron to control a land called Middle-earth. In The Lord of the Rings film trilogy most Elvish swords are curved but some named swords are interpreted as two-handed longswords. The films also embellished upon Tolkien's descriptions of swords (and other weapons) by making up inscriptions for these items.
Any one handed weapon can be dual wielded with another (Barring Spears as they are main hand only)As far as dps goes they will relatively have the same if they're the same level give or take.Weapon choice usually comes down to what you personally like the look of, or your race's bonus weapon damage. Since you're a champion this means: Humans get +5% bonus with 1h/2h Swords, Elves give +5% bonus with 1h swords and Dwarves get +5% bonus with 1h/2h Axes. (For future information Hobbits get +5% bonus with clubs but Hobbits can't be Champions, niether can Beorning's I guess who also get club bonus)So if you're playing an Elf or Human dual wielding/using swords would be optimal. If you rolled a Dwarf then dual wielding/using axes would be best. Some classes also get weapon bonuses like Burgulars with Daggers or Wardens with Spears/Swords so there's that too, but I think Champion doesn't get increased weapon proficiency so can weild any weapon equally well. I'm an Elf, btw.If you join a kinship, you can ask if there is an armourer (who can make heavy armour & shields) who can make you some nice armour.
(And a weaponsmith to make you 2 decent swords as well). You can even try it on one of the chat channels, but it depends on the server (and time of day) if you get a sane answer back there. If you tell us which server you're on, you might be lucky and one of us can make you some gear:-). Oh my mistake then. There should be a Heavy Armoursmith in Thorin's Hall.
I'm surprised there's not one in Celondim or Duillond. I think Gondamon has one maybe.Edit: Also while yes you could start over, you honestly really only keep the same piece of gear for 5 or so levels max before you find a new piece that will be better. And once you hit level 20 you can start buying gear from skirmish camps. So don't feel like you ruined your entire experience because you made a mistake now while you're in a low level. It wont have any real effect honestly. Originally posted by:Too bad, because I kept choosing medium armor until someone answered here. I guess I'll create a new character and star over.
It's much easier to defend castles for example as you have more archers shooting at the attackers, which still need to push through a small breach, so that they can't use their numerically superiority. There is a battle resizer with which you can change the battle size to values over 100:This should work with all mods.Note that some maps are not really well balanced for battlesizes like 400.
