Fallout New Vegas DLCNow, you can still buy the DLC for the base game, or get them as part of a Game of The Year style package when you buy New Vegas. But what can you expect from the four-story expansions (not counting Gunrunners Arsenal and Courier’s Stash, the two DLC that are equipment only and don’t add new areas, characters or events)?1.

Old World BluesOld World Blues is the token ‘wacky’ DLC, as Mothership Zeta was to Fallout 3. With a sci-fi theme and comedic voice acting, it is a fun experience that does include some challenging combat and some deeper stuff that adds to the main story. The real benefits from it, however, are the new perks it adds, and the fact it provides you with a really great base that has a lot of useful features in The Sink – a place you to by using a teleportation gun so can actually return to even when you are over-encumbered and can’t fast travel! You can play this DLC at any point in the main story (thought a 10-15 character level is advisable) and the things you will find out will make sense, so it can be a good option to play first out of the four.

That's not to say that the Fallout New Vegas dlc doesn't have incredible writing and content, but none of them really bring an actual change to the Mojave besides the nukes in Lonesome Road. Nuka World on the other hand, takes the most prominent feature in Fallout 4 and gives it an overhaul. In YOUR opinion give me a list of the FNV DLC's in order ffrom best to worst.

Dead MoneyIf Old World Blues is about comedy, then. A stressful survival horror story set in a location you cannot return to after you have completed the DLC, it is interesting and exciting but definitely an intense experience. It is best to play this DLC after you have met Veronica from the Brotherhood of Steel, as someone from her past features prominently in the story. It can also be a good idea to play Old World Blues first, as some clues link the two stories.3.

Honest Heartsis unique as a DLC in New Vegas in that you do actually get to take some of your stuff with you – with a reduced weight limit and a two week travel time. It takes you to a new location in Utah which is beautiful to look at and gets you involved in deciding on the outcome of a war between tribes.

It is a nice place to visit, and you can return after the end of the DLC story, however, it is best to do this DLC after you have spent some time with the Legion, otherwise, you won’t really understand about the main character you’ll meet. This is also the only part of New Vegas where the weather was introduced and it can be oddly satisfying to see rain – especially if you have already played Fallout 4 which has weather implemented throughout. Lonesome RoadLonesome Road – the last New Vegas DLC released, which you can find out more about here at – really gives you a lot of backstory to your player character, and is best played last of the DLC and close to the end of the main quest, so you have already got an understanding of who the courier you play is. It is also better to play this DLC when you have chosen an allegiance, as things will shape up very differently for a Legion or NCR allied courier, or an independent one.All of these DLCs are well worth playing and add more to an already fantastic game, so if you’re a Fallout fan, give them a play!

Aight so I want somethin new to play, so rather than get a new game I'd get some DLC, and New Vegas's DLC looks interesting. So, which one would you say is the best? Ive heard that Dead Money isn't that good so I wont go for thatdead money on hardcore was sadistic.

Also, yes, it was pretty bad in the ways of items/weapons/armor.Honestly, I have to go with either Honest Hearts I fucking love the.45 SMG or Old World Blues for two different reasons.Honest Hearts has some great items like the afore mentioned 'FUCK YOU AND EVERYONE STANDING AROUND YOU!' SMG and perks that can make you a killing machine if you weren't one already.Old World Blues has possibly the best story out of all the DLC's, the characters were memorable and its a great throwback to the B Sci-fi or movies from Sci Fi (I refuse to call it syfy) movies.Lonesome Road, while it has some good story and items. It really isn't necessary. Also, if you have it on PC, go to the Nexus.Your game just got more replayable. Old World Blues is a must have. A large open area full of ruined research labs full of interesting tech, not to mention the story and characters.Dead Money is more of a sadistic experiment than anything else. But the story dovetails into the OWB DLC and while VERY hard it is worth it, if only for the bragging rights.Honest Hearts is the pretty one of the bunch, set in a canyon valley full of wildlife and tribals.

Unfortunately while introducing Joshua Graham aka The Burned Man and the tale of the Survivalist, it doesn't have that much character to it.Lonesome Road is also a bit of a hardcore run for a player. While the primary antagonist can seem a little emo, ED-E (or at least a clone copy) more than makes up for it and the items you can find are good as well. The Gun Runners Arsenal is another good choice, adding even more dakka to the massive selection of weapons New Vegas as well as some fun challenges (containing more than a few references in them)My buying order would beOld World BluesThe Gun Runners ArsenalLonesome RoadDead MoneyHonest HeartsYou could also buy the Ultimate Edition and get all 4 packs plus all the pre order goodie items as well.REcaptcha: lager frenzy.

Dead Money is trip through hell with limited supplies, clouds of poison, and invincible holographic enemies you have to sneak past. Recommended for Survival Horror fans. All you have to do is find their hologram projectors! It was quite simple in my opinion. That's what I meant. You have to sneak past them to find the projectors, and looking for them while avoiding holograms and finding radios to turn off (or avoiding the shielded ones) actually gets pretty complicated sometimes if I recall correctly.

Lonesome Road was awesome. The Red Glare with all of its attachments is awesome. ED-E was awesome too.I did not like the story in Dead Money, and I hated that I had to kill off two of the three companions. They had a deathwish and would not indulge my desire to keep them alive.

But I managed to leave the Sierra Madre with over 5000 stimpacks (Get 7500 in the casino somehow and it pays you 1100 chips every 3 days while there. Use that BS credit system to make Stimpack.

After spending a year in game doing this, I enough chips.)I enjoyed Honest Hearts. Can't talk about Old World Blues. It glitched on me all the time. Old World Blues is hilarious but the quests are a load of bollocks and little reward is gained, the armor and weapons added all suck. Love the jokes but the rest is disappointing.Dead Money is frustrating but the story and intensity is very fun, the only thing that pulls it down is the exploding collar. Decent equipment (Assassins suit, Automatic rifle, Holorifle)Honest Hearts has lots of useful weapons (45. Auto) and armor (desert combat armor) and fun characters, lot of space to explore.

All the quests are literally fetch quests.Lonesome Road is linear but the story and challenge are excellent and it looks amazing. Decent equipment.

Loved the ED-E back story and your own backstory and why the Divide is like it is. Everybody knows you just charge in there and jump around as they all attack you! That's what I did!Captcha: Easy As Cake. See even Captcha agrees with me! When it comes to the DLC's (Especially Dead Money), you are going to want to be skilled in certain things.

The only reason I make special mention for Dead Money is because that is the only DLC location that you can not go back to afterwards. All you have to do is find their hologram projectors! Everybody knows you just charge in there and jump around as they all attack you! That's what I did!Captcha: Easy As Cake. See even Captcha agrees with me!If you know exactly where you are going and what you are doing and even then, you are still going to take a lot of damage and I don't like spending all of my chips on stimpaks.I'm not saying it's hard because of 1 thing like the holograms. I'm saying it's frustratingly annoying because of several things.

You have to avoid the holograms and find and cut the emitters while finding radios/speakers to cut AND avoiding the invul-shielded speakers.Finding the later level emitters also requires platforming which this game does rather poorly.Ok I take it back. This DLC isn't for survival horror fans, it's for masochists that like getting their heads blown off and getting hit by things they cant directly kill. Get the edition that has all of them, ULTIMATE EDITION! It is very cheap even on disc and you get everything.Gun Runners adds some nice weapons, but far from essential.Dead Money is an actual challenge, slightly creepy and if you play it right can give you an amazing continuous reward to help you the whole game. Can be frustrating as all hell though and you don't get enough of all the interesting new characters.Honest Hearts I found the most boring play-wise, but the Burned Man is epic and I actually cried reading the well-crafted story and journals of the 'hidden character'.Old World blues was funny, fun, had some cool new gadgets (those axes!

New Vegas Dlc List

DAMN!) and some of it was decently hard. Over-all just very good.Lonesome road was fun to play, very high-level DLC to really make an uber endgame character. ED-Es story was expanded very well, but the main character of it I found to be somewhat meh. Still very good overall. But get them all. Just do it:P.

Intelligence at least 8 or higher (I always put my int at 10 at the beginning so I do not know the exact number that you need)Never put int straight to 10:P Or any special really, because it means you have one less opportunity for an extra special point with the implants that cannot take you over 10. Go to 9 and put 1 in something else. Also for Dead Money: luck 8. I am serious. BlackJack with luck 8 will get you so much cash that you can literally buy any weapon and armour set you want in the game.

And if you find the vendor's ammo recipe, you can get basically unlimited ammo if you clear out the casinos and reach the point where they won't let you gamble. Definitely worth it.
