The startup project, Mapping, is a console application. So to run the mapping, all you need to do is to build the solution and run Mapping.exe. Actually, Mapping.exe could be executed from SSIS with an Execute Process Task. But the downside to that is that you have no configuration possibilities.

Open command prompt as administrator:c:windowssystem32cmd.exe– runas /user:domainnameadminusername cmd.exeSSIS–Execute Process Task–Process tab–. Executable: C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe. Otherwise, It will not execute the given command.In this example, I will show you how to create a folder using command line commands.Step 1: Create a SSIS packageStep 2: Add Execute Process Task into the packageStep 3: Configure the task as shown below. The command we are using in this task will create a new folder in e drive. But, you can use the available drive letter in your computer. executable: c:windowssystem32cmd.exe. arguments: /c MKDIR d:ssisRiderOn successful package execution, you will have a new folder SSRider in the specified drive.

So, it is very simple to execute an external commands or applications in SSIS using Execute Process Task and never forget to add /C option when you are using command line commands.Note: Command Line or Command Prompt is a Windows program that emulates many of the command line abilities available in MS-DOS but it is not actually MS-DOS.Run bat file as administrator:1. Make a shortcut pointed to the command prompt (I named it Administrative Command Prompt)2. Open the shortcut’s properties and go to the Compatibility tab3. Under the Privilege Level section, make sure the checkbox next to “Run this program as an administrator” is checkedAnother tips: Make a batch file in an editor and nameit.bat then create a shortcut to it. Nameit.bat – shortcut. Then right click on Nameit.bat – shortcut -Properties-Shortcut tab - Advanced and click Run as administrator.
