Perhaps the game could track abilities based on the creatures that will grant them (applies only to monsters) and would have a gauge that fills up as you eat more. Each time you fill it you gain a new ability until the gauge turns grey when there's nothing more to be learned from it. And as in the novel the increase of the gauge will be dependant on level difference and the freshness of the meat. That's why I initially suggested something along the lines of sengoku rance. It can be robust but the resources needed are at a level manageable by indie devs. They can go many ways and I hope for an MMO eventually but I think one of the biggest catches to a game of this series is the lack of instructions.
What really makes Re:Moster different from other game like manga is the main characters lack of knowledge of the future. He gains an outline of his Psalms but doesn't know what preparations are needed to better his chances, like after the revolution he found out he didn't get 100% completion and still didn't know what it refered to to gain it. He is constantly figuring the world out as he gose along not even aware what makes him a varient or what his evolutions will turn out being. This sence of mystery is an essintial and fundamental part of this world and if isn't propperly represented in a game i feel it would be a great loss to an outstanding concept.Also a essintail for a game is play style affect on evolutions and stat distribution. This world encourages a variaty of specializations and as evolutions that cater to that play style. Starting everyone off with nothing it forces the player to play around and descover how to best play to their style.
This could have minor variations like the option to have a basic spell to start out with or slight variation of stats but the versitility of the system should definately be encouraged. I think it should be an mmo in an open world where your character evolves depending on your actions, level, skills, and monsters hunted.also should have the option of, depending of race, win over different npcs to have kids and create an army, of clourse males too.Like making your own guild or castle but with the option of bringing npcs to your side too, and conquering actual cities, with a cause and effect system. You attack a village kingdom sends army to destroy you. Make trade agreements or save village from stuff intimacy up, something like that would be awesome.though it would be R18+ if not there would not be a point. I'd like to see it be a sandbox game that's KIND OF got a story (kind of like the Dark Souls series of games) that moves similar to how the LN and manga's story does.though it's at YOUR pace and not the character's.The character you play definitely needs to have the Absorption ability, though.It wouldn't need to have outstanding graphics, I'd personally be satisfied with graphics similar to Starbound, or maybe Binding of Isaac or something like that.
It doesn't need to be complex 3D graphics, basically.Aside from that, I've got a pretty decent list of things I'd like to see for it.but I can't really be bothered to list them, since it's futile, lol.
