Measure down from each side of the top of the screen and apply a littlemasking tape, to mark the same length at each side of the windscreen. Thiswill help ensure the strip is applied 'straight'.

Once rinsed, leave a thin layer of soapy water on the screen. Large 30cm sunstrips will have an edge marked 'top' to be placedat the top of the windscreen. The bottom edge is the best edge and will alsohave been packed to protect it. Remove backing paper from the sunstrip and apply a thin smearing of soapywater to that too!. Apply sunstrip to screen leaving the excess at the sides and top. Thesoapy water will allow movement of the strip to ensure it's placed centrally. Squeeze out excess water and air bubbles from under the strip, the side ofa credit card is a handy tool for this (one with smooth edges, if in doubtwrapping it in a sock should stop it scratching the vinyl).

Pin prick any bubbles that won't goaway and press flat. Trim off excess vinyl with a sharp knife.
